Welcome to the Melancon Lab at MD Anderson Cancer Center! The goal of our lab is to develop nanoparticle-enhanced absorbable devices for the management of vascular diseases as well as novel nanotheranostics for the management of cancer and its complications.
Our Research
Research projects in our laboratory are focused on the following major areas:
- Development of radiopaque bioresorbable inferior vena cava filters
- Development of bioresorbable cell or drug-eluting polymeric vascular wraps and grafts
- Development of multifunctional theranostic nanoparticles
About Dr. Melancon
